Om Mani Padme Hum is the mantra of compassion and mercy. Chanting Om Mani Padme Hum brings down blessings and divine energy from Buddha Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Mercy and Compassion … It has purifying and healing effects. The person reciting it and other people and sentient beings around them will experience calmness and inner peace.
